SASA PORT

after waiting for the fries to cook
we took off by 10am
there a ferries like every 15mins

Hello SAMAL ISLAND

upon our arrival there a lot of people offering us a tour in the island using their Habal habal (motorcycle) the only touring vehicle transportation used in the island except if you have your own.

we settle for 300 per motorcycle with the tour in BATCAVE, FALLS and one of kuya suggestion ( ung maraming foreigners daw na puro boat )

so to whatever kuya is saying..
then off we GO!

had our lunch before the tour
(carinderia suggested by kuya tourguide )

the first place we visit is the famous
Monfort bat Cave

Entrance fee - P100/person

Upon Entering
Ate (in the right) told us about the history of the Bat Cave. She will go with you to explain everything
and you can ask her question even about her life haha.
ate is very approachable and super kind.

There are 5 holes cave where you can see closely the bats.

I was really amaze how so close to see those bats in person
and how many they are.
the guide said that every 6pm the bats get out from the cave and go around davao to find food and will return before morning
Imagine all of this bats would go flying in the sky.
sometime its scares tourist thinking that it was a hurricane in the wind.

if you are curios of the smell
YES the smell YES! ang BAHO!
haha

when we got farther we couldn't take it anymore, The smell is going inside our nose so we decided to go on our next destination

i just had a little tip before entering the cave.

PUT A LOT OFF BUG LOTION!
or WEAR Jeans or any thing that could hide your skin
from the big Mosquitos.
iam telling you i was attack by mosquitos that my feet was all red and bumpy  because of hives.

2nd destination will be on the next post :)
